Not just simple bikers, but bikers-sportsmen have special motorbikes. They are called sport bikes. You can perceive it only if it is stopped. The reason is that it picks up the speed 100 km/hour just in three seconds! Sport bikers wear special equipment: overalls, painted helmets, high overshoes, gloves with carbon insertion. Protecting cuirass for the back and chest and for knees and elbows is intended like extra protection. Full equipment is called “tortoise”.

People, who prefer comfortable riding, have big flashy motorbikes with music hi-fi systems. They can ride even in a marsh or in a desert. Such bikers don’t strain after wild speed. And they have a lot of equipment, which is unnecessary for sport bikers, such as fridge, hi-fi, different blinking lamps and so on. They usually wear common clothes in the style of cowboy: jeans, cowboy boots, hats and so on.

The oldest motorbike was produced in 1889 and now it costs almost a million of dollars. And now every guy dreams to ride a motorbike and every girl wants to sit behind her boyfriend and hold him, while they are rushing on the bike into darkness. It’s the most romantic dream. The motorbike theme is very popular today. Many motorbike shows are organized all over the world. And there are many bikers’ organizations, clubs.

If you an among bikers and the conversation comes to Harley Davidson and you think that it is perfume label (Harley Davidson eau-de-Cologne really exists), you better be silent. Harley Davidson for bikers is the same like Pele for football fans, “Beatles” for melomans. Harley Davidson was designed by businessman Arthur Davidson, progenitor of motosport Outer Davidson, engineer William Harley and financial director William Davidson. It is motorbike-legend. Everybody rode it: soldiers in Great Patriotic War, American policeman in “dry law” times, presidents, mega stars of show business and what really matters — plain simple bikes. They adore four Americans, who invented the chief motorbike in the beginning of XX century. First “Harley” was produced in 1903. It is kept in the office of their company. During 20 years after it this motorbike gained hearts of all Americans. And in the Second World War allied Englishmen and some Germans were riding it too.

After the war first bikes turned up in America of course, they rode Harley Davidsons. Although, that times they wasn’t ridden by monsters in bandanas and leather jackets, but by respectable according to today’s measure people in blue jeans and white shirts. But they produced not less noise than today’s “Night wolfs”. Bikers say: “It in mine o’clock in the evening asphalt is dry and the sky is clear, we will ride”. So, everybody has a chance to see Harleys and to live them never… just in the dreams.
